Had a fabulous BBQ this afternoon…Nick’s first opportunity to break in his new apron and utensils. Pam, Geoff and Maddy were first to arrive with a plethora of puddings, and Nick the yachtie was hot on their heels – he had taken a two-hour walk from town through heavily wooded areas with his machete. We’ve not before had the pleasure of his company socially and it was great to get to know him better. My Nick arrived home from church via town with Zac and Jen about an hour later, by which time Geoff had gotten the fire going. It was a great afternoon of good food and most enjoyable company – Pam and I got to chat camera-camera with a pro!
