Eleven-eleven

School, swimming, quick lunch at home, grocery shopping, camera club - oh tired me. In club today we practiced group photos (composition and direction). The kids started off well enough but took so long in between with all the messing around that by the last girl to have a go they were fed up - just look at this woeful bunch in the second pic. Hope they got a good taste of what us grown-ups have to endure ;) (Pic above by Paige; pic below by Melissa)The boys brought a bunch of flyers home from school to advertise the SA Fair, which needed to be mail-dropped. I sent them off on their bikes after tea to deliver their lot, which didn't take long- but I marvelled at the fact that they were out, unsupervised, at 7.50 pm; the safety and long days are what make this possible. It's been a balmy day, short-sleeves all day from morning till night. While the boys were playing the part of postman, I swept the front walkway and cut down dead roses. It's still a novelty for us to be doing outdoors stuff while it's daylight, this late in the day!
