Another night, another concert (but a little different)

After a fabulous BBQ meal (Nick spotted some frozen meat packs at PaknSave when we did our grocery shopping on the weekend, reduced in price to a fraction of their worth), Dad, Aaron, Nick and I went to the carnival (again!) as our swing group was set to do a bit of a performance to the Soul Agency's music.  The band was excellent, definitely one of the better ones thus far with a lot more variety and good cohesion (on the trumpet below is Mr Willers who is well known around our school).
We always feel a little sorry for the performers on these brilliantly fine evenings as they have to look straight at the sun!
When the band struck up their swing songs, the Swingkatz pulled out their moves and impressed the (very small) crowd.
Two more small dancers did a routine to a dinosaur song - great variety from these guys!
After the concert we dropped Dad and Aaron off at home and returned to the bay side to meet up with the gang for a wee refreshment. Good to catch up with friends again as dance classes are in remission over the holidays.
